This Pflugerville home’s laundry area needed a major style and function upgrade. The goal: create a bright, cheerful space with smart storage and a welcoming mudroom nook.

The top design requests were:

Fully enclosed cabinets above the washer and dryer, extending all the way to the ceilings
Ample shoe storage
A charming mudroom area with a built-in bench

We designed a floor-to-ceiling storage wall in the laundry area, keeping every cleaning supply and household essential neatly tucked away behind sleek cabinet doors. The upper cabinets make use of vertical space, while soft-close hinges keep daily use quiet and smooth. Dedicated enclosed shoe storage ensures everything has its place, while the Winter Fun finish brings a playful pop of personality to the space.

In the mudroom, we added a cozy built-in bench with cubbies and enclosed cabinets above, creating the perfect landing zone for shoes, bags, and jackets.

The end result is a bright, organized, and inviting dual-purpose room. A space that’s just as functional for daily routines as it is beautiful to walk into. And no more shoes on the ground!
