This newly built Scott Felder speculative home was not meeting the needs of busy family life. The clients wanted additional storage and a more functional layout that matched their lifestyle.

The top design requests were:

Elevated style

Fold & hang areas

The upgraded mudroom consists of pull-out shoe shelves, drawers, coat hooks and upper cabinets — a complete landing zone for shoes, backpacks, jackets and more. The space is color drenched in Mysterious matte dark blue including beaded panel backing and matte gold hardware.

The laundry room was transformed by stacking units to create space for a large storage cabinet for bulk items on one side and a double hamper. The opposite wall provides an ample folding area, pull-out iron, drawers, hang rod, upper cabinets to the ceiling, and an additional double hamper. The design blends a warm white oak color with sage green Celadon slim shaker door and drawer fronts. Modern slate hardware coordinates with whimsical wallpaper to create a truly unique space.
