Custom Garage Cabinets in Austin, TX

Your garage is the first room you see when you come home, and usually the last one anyone designs. We change that with floating 24-inch-deep cabinets, designer slat wall, and built-in drop zones, laid out around the cars, tools, and gear you actually own. Every garage is designed by Stefanie and installed by Isaac, the founders of Happy Home Storage Design, and you see it in 3D before we build a thing.

Garage Storage Built Around the Way You Live

A garage can be a workshop, a home gym, a mudroom, a weekend hideout, or all four at once. No two garages in Round Rock, Pflugerville, or Westlake Hills get used the same way, so we don't start from a catalog. We start with what you park, what you store, and what you want the space to feel like, then design custom garage storage that fits it to the inch.

Floating 24" Deep Garage Cabinets

Our garage cabinets mount to the wall and float above the floor. At 24 inches deep, they swallow the bulky stuff: coolers, sports gear, power tools, holiday bins, bulk paper goods. Keeping them off the slab means nothing sits in the water, dust, and leaves that collect on a garage floor, and you can sweep or hose right underneath. The wood-grain finish gives the whole wall the look of premium cabinetry, not a utility closet.

Light gray wood-grain garage slat wall with a black wire shelf, basket, and hooks

Our garage slat wall comes in finishes that pair with your cabinets, with hooks, baskets, and shelves that move whenever your gear changes: bikes and pool floats in summer, decorations in winter, rakes and hoses year-round. It turns a bare wall into storage you'll actually use.

A Garage Drop Zone for the Real Front Door

For most families, the garage door is the front door. A tall cabinet, open shelves, coat hooks, and a built-in bench right at the house entry catch backpacks, shoes, and keys before they make it inside.

Your Garage Hideout, Finished Right

Some garages aren't just for storage. If you want a place to watch the game, work on the truck, or simply get away, we design the cabinets, slat wall, and work surfaces so the space feels finished and intentional, not like a corner of the storage room. Think premium man cave, built to your lifestyle.

Designed by Stefanie. Built by Isaac.

Many garage companies send a sales rep to measure and a separate crew to install. We don't. Stefanie designs every garage personally and Isaac installs every garage personally, so the people you meet at your first conversation are the people standing in your finished garage at the walkthrough.

See Your Garage in 3D Before We Build

  1. Discovery Consultation. We come to your home, measure the garage, and talk through how you use it.

  2. 3D Design Review. Walk through your finished garage on screen, from every angle, before anything is ordered.

  3. Design Refinement. Choose finishes, hardware, and slat wall accessories. Every detail is yours to decide.

  4. White-Glove Installation. Isaac leads the install and leaves the space clean, complete, and ready to use.
